Weekend top picks: Easter egg hunts, American Idol Watch Party, opening day at Historic Collinsville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – From Easter egg hunts to an American Idol watch party, this is a big weekend for fun in Clarksville.

Easter Egg Hunt at Beachaven: Join in two Egg Hunts, one for the kids and one for the adults, at Beachaven Vineyards & Winery, 1100 Dunlop Lane. The egg hunts will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, April 1, and costs $15-$20. From 2-5 p.m., Chris Carpenter will perform inside for a free show.

American Idol Watch Party: Watch Clarksville’s Haven Madison on the first Hollywood Week episode at this free watch party. Haven will perform live, and with another Idol contestant at Varsity Pins, 2231 Madison St., Suite V, from 6-9 p.m. Sunday, April 2.

Historic Collinsville opening day: Historic Collinsville Pioneer Settlement in rural Montgomery County will open its annual season, featuring hands-on activities for all ages at 4711 Weakley Road, Southside, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 1. Admission is $8 for ages 13 and up, $4 for ages 6-12, and free to under age 6.
